Vision
In 2025 it will become the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, producing Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering graduates who have innovative national natural resource-based competencies with the identity of State Defense and regional competitiveness.
Mission
- Organizing transparent and quality management of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program (Good Study Program Governance).
- Organizing competency-based Higher Education in Mechanical Engineering that is tailored to market needs.
- Carrying out scientific research and development in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
- Organizing community service in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
The objective of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program is to produce graduates in Mechanical Engineering with the following qualifications:
- Mastering knowledge and skills in the basic science of mechanical engineering in accordance with technological developments, especially in the field of appropriate technology engineering, competitive energy systems, effective and efficient manufacturing technology and knowledge in the field of application software and engineering analysis.
- Able to communicate, lead, apply knowledge and technology skills in the industry, and can work independently or work in groups.
- Able to compete nationally and internationally
- State Defense Identity
Produce a GPA of 3.00 or ≥ 3.00 by completing an average study period of four (4) years, and a graduate waiting period of ≤ 6 months.

a. Energy Conversion Competence
Able to plan, design, analyze energy systems using application software and engineering analysis
b. Construction and Design Competence
Able to plan, design, re-engineer, and develop competitive appropriate technology by utilizing application software and engineering analysis.
c. Manufacturing Competence
Able to plan, design, analyze, and implement effective and efficient manufacturing technology by utilizing application software and engineering analysis.
The three competencies mentioned above are each supported by relevant subjects, both in the form of elective subject compulsory specialization.

- Mastering aspects of engineering design, energy systems, production processes and control systems
